SPECIALTY COURTS WE SERVE

Fort Bend

Justice Forward supports four specialty courts in Fort Bend County. The courts include the Misdemeanor Treatment Court and the Closing Addiction’s Revolving Door (CARD) Drug Court Program which provide supervision and treatment for offenders with a substance use disorder, the Creating Opportunities through Rehabilitation and Empowerment (CORE) Program for juveniles which provides mentoring, support and counseling for youth who have been sexually exploited or at risk of human trafficking and the Mental Health Court which connects felony offenders with a mental health diagnosis to community-based mental health services, .

These Fort Bend County Specialty Courts provide intensive supervision, individualized treatment and recovery support services that address specific needs to change participants’ behavior and encourage long-term recovery. Justice Forward supports these courts by funding services that help the courts meet best practices standards and increase their participants' recovery capital.
